ABSENCE EXCUSED: Clotilde Straus and Brian Wazlaw


Chairman Sturgis called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.

I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Mr. Green made a motion to accept the minutes of the January 9, 2002, Conservation Committee meeting. Mr. Cormier seconded the motion, and all voted in favor.

  1. WETLANDS BUREAU PERMIT APPLICATION
    1. Lawrence and Ruth Gray for Currier's Cove

Voted to recommend denial of the Wetlands Permit to the NH Wetlands Bureau as the construction of a 14' x 8' attached additional new screened porch would expand into the wetlands tidal buffer zone.

  1. OTHER BUSINESS

Chairman Sturgis announced that Clotilde Straus has resigned as the City Arborist and member of the Conservation Commission.

At this time Chairman Sturgis closed the meeting to the public for a meeting with legal counsel regarding possible ordinance changes.
